We met in Pullman, Washington in early 2021 when Maddi was a 3rd year vet student and Steven just started his doctorate, and we've been inseparable ever since.

When Maddi graduated with her DVM in May 2022 and traveled to Denver and then San Diego to specialize in neurology, Steven joined her and the dogs when he could.

After several years of long distance, we closed the gap in July 2024 and have been happily together with our two dogs, Luci and Eliza, in Middleton, Wisconsin.
